Sometimes words just aren't enough. Sometimes there aren't the right words. Sometimes tears are all you've got.
Yesterday the decision was made to send Adam home on hospice care. He was discharged today. The exact prognosis is not known, however it is likely a couple of weeks to a month at most. There are no words to describe how this news has shaken up my life and the life of my family. I have known deep down that this was coming, but I had hoped it would be much farther in the future. Please pray for Adam and Elizabeth as they face the difficult days to come.

Oh Rachel..........
I am the lady who was friends with your Mom when we were in 4-H. I have no words of comfort for your family . Adam has been most cruelly stricken and I do find it hard to learn God's lesson here. I think Elizabeth is around my youngest daughter's age and what a blow to their life plans. Oh I just wish that I had met her so that I could hug her from afar. My heart breaks for her for all that they will miss. I know they will see each other in Heaven but that is so far away. If she needs to talk ai do have a friend that lost her husband quickly and unexpectedly as I did. We can both listen to her and let her vent as often as she needs to. Screaming, wailing, cursing ....we've done it all and are still grieving. Please send her my love and information for whenever she needs it---day or night and I DO MEAN DAY OR NIGHT!
Much love,
Elena Latham Murphy
